My wife's(no pics) first cousin, who is well over 300 lbs, is a pathological liar. He gets these jobs out of state supposedly making well over six figures but doesn't have a house or a car. My father in law called his arse out on it this year. He asked him where he was working and he said somewhere in Nevada. My FIL said that he would be going to a conference(lie) close to him and wants to visit. The "Well, uh...you know.....uh...I'll be working and I might not be around...uh..." started right after.

Of OP was “the alpha” of the group he’d have no problem calling out the coworker with one of his obvious lies. Then also repeating that lie around others that OP knows have been there for years
