Saw a video of a shooting in the parking lot there about a week ago after a zydeco. Must’ve been the last straw.

Cowboys was just tucked away randomly by itself. Went a few times, but spent most of my nights at Stan's and/or Nighttown with shutting it down at Blaises in Maurice. Eventually switched to just starting and ending at Blaises.

It was open after hours because I think that was outside the city limits. Not sure.

I went there about a dozen times in early to mid 90s during HS daze. I remember about 5 wet T-shirt contests that were bigger and skankier each new weekend.

Junkyard Dog MC’d one of them a few years before he bit the dust. He was pretty likable that night and weird to see one of my heroes as a little kid up close all those years later.

Cowboys was a solid pickup spot when I lived in he Lafayette in the early 2010's. Lots of crazy chicks from Crowley, Carencro, Opelousas, and Breaux Bridge would frequent this establishment. Almost nobody at this place was actually from Lafayette. Felt out of place a few times there because I didn't have a jacked up truck.

My buddy was into older women and would always go right after the fat girls because they were the easiest. He bagged two of the biggest girls I've ever seen, brought them to my truck and told me to drop them off in grand isle.
They rode in the bed
