The man is on a feeding tube. Not sure this is clever.

Jesus on the cross probably has fewer underlying health problems than a guy who can’t cycle correctly.

I can't find the article, but pretty sure that guy had COVID-19 and was hospitalized for several days. Lost something like 50 pounds.

Hospitals give baseline levels of nutrition based on bodyweight and the severity of your condition. Dude was probably getting 1-1.4 g/Kg of protein a day in the hospital, whereas at home he was probably eating 2-2.5.

I remember we had a bodybuilder in our class, and when we went over TPNs, he said please don’t give me this if I end up in a hospital, I’ll go catabolic

It was. He was 43 and had no underlying conditions. Yeah, except eating steroids I'm sure.

I wanted to post about this today. This guy was on the front page of Reddit last night with about 60k upvotes or something crazy like that. My wife also sent me the article about him in an attempt to get me to come to the crazy side that sees Covid-19 as a direct threat to everyone, not just the elderly.

The conversation on Reddit was of course focused on how we should stay closed, wear masks, shut down the economy, practice social distance, and blah blah shite.

But the guy is obviously juicing. He's in his 40s. He's got the red blushed skin. Pokey nipples. A filled-out muscle-stuffed body. The guy even posted on IG that when he comes back to full health, he's going to lift weights the "right way" this time.

So no, Mike Schultz is not an example of a person with no prior health conditions being affected and nearly killed by Covid-19. He's a guy that's been on steroids (or another PED) for quite some time, and that most likely led to his near-death experience from the virus.

Even without “juice”.... 2 months in the hospital will do that to you....

But the guy having a peg tube, and a trach , something was fricked up with him....

Back story? Is that the dude that was doing gay porn? Or some famous dude’s boyfriend...

Chronic juicing will lower your immune system.

I am sure shooting up with steroids at that age and the toll the steroids have on the human body had nothing to do with it? Just because he had muscles doesn't mean his body inside was in good order. Only reason he probably didn't die yet is from working out to get swole as OP said.

And open heart surgery from the looks of the scar on his chest.

Testosterone alone is hell on the immune system, it's why men have been hospitalized more often than women with this.
