Oh btw, check that Arkansas Rt update today? Yesterday it showed 1.04 for 8/2. Today's update revised it to 1.09 for 8/2 and 1.06 for 8/3.

So Rt still heading down and almost at 1

Fantastic news

Kork claiming the CDC information is inaccurate

Seems someone doesn’t like to deal with “the facts”

Well, I'm one of the few in here who seem to understand the data well enough to know when a huge chunk is missing, so maybe you're delusional.

So now you’re not only going to let us know you’re more rational, but more intelligent too?

Cool.

Also, the hospitalization new admission rate per 100k for Louisiana slowed between 8/3 and 8/4

Great news

Yeah, it's inaccurate because it's missing data. You tried to act like I said it's "falsified". Let me screenshot that for you

The rightmost part highlighted in grey. You know, the part with the footnote that says it's not accurate due to delays in the data.

So when a graph is present, and the graph itself says a part of it is subject to change, it seems like one is selling an narrative to “call it inaccurate”

Not you, you are a “just the facts guy”

I'm not sure what you're arguing, the deaths are not going to go up a whole lot like they used to do with cases. It's just not going to happen.

Sure, the graph may not be "final," but if you're arguing over that trivia have at it. I don't think that's worth fighting over.

You added a smartass comment in the OP which specifically referenced the section of the chart with missing data. "Why are we panicking again?"

And you know full well that there are plenty other charts with more up-to-date information, but of course those don't sell the "why panic" narrative as nicely.

Just tell the whole (accurate) story. Most of us still won't panic over it, I promise.

Accuracy, reality, truth, rationality, etc.

I agree. Likely a combination of the delta variant being weaker and a partially vaccinated population will keep deaths lower.

This particular graph isn't just not final, it hasn't even started with the data we're interested in right now. It's just nonsensical to post it at this point.

Shut the frick up. You’re arguing because someone presented data that doesn’t fall in line with your viewpoint.

Pride, that appears to be an update. Any caveats to this chart?

Nevermind...it originally went through July 31

If it's incomplete, then it cannot be accurate by definition.

Are you really this dense?

And I wasn't really concerned anyway. I was in the Army. If I was going to have adverse effects to a vaccine, that shite would have happened years ago.

Not true at all, like you I have probably been vaccinated against every disease known to man, and never an issue. The side effects I experienced from the Moderna shot were terrible, probably the worst I have ever felt, most subsided after 3 days, but I still have residual effects that I am starting to be concerned about.
