When I see a person with a mask now I really just fee sorry for them. I was at a conference with about 100 people and there was this one lady who wore a mask the whole time. What would make a person do that? What is wrong with these people?

I don't think THAT many posters, even the more liberal ones, were pro-governmental mandates.
Now on a personal responsibility level? Yeah there was a lot of discussion about that and a lot of people revealed that they don't believe in personal responsibility if it aligns with their perceived in group.

It's like many of these people never were around large Asian populations in winter. Masks didn't start with covid.

I work in a state building. Probably 90% female. Probably 80% African American Female.... It is mask central around here. Many are double masked. It is fricking ridiculous that people could be so brainwashed.
I assume if you are still wearing a mask at this point, you will just continue to do so for the rest of your life.

It really does speak a lot about a person who continues to not only swim in the delight of blissful ignorance but even after being educated and told that they're wrong, get defensive and ugly about it. That's how the people are who continue to wear those little face diapers and "just know" that they're being safe from getting anything.

The only person I see regularly wearing a mask is the dude transitioning to a woman at the convenience store by Home Depot.

You should know this but it's to keep spittle from leaving someone's mouth and moving to an open wound. It is not to keep microscopic viruses trapped behind a paper mask. The only thing that can accomplish that is a sealed mask. You know this.
