The OP is correct in that Covid absolutely broke some people who are still being way too paranoid about it when the pandemic has long since been over.
But Covid has equally broke folks on the opposite end as well, that's just as obvious.

I wore a mask recently because of a respiratory infection- negative on Covid test.

I feel sorry for them, they had the same conditions and risk before Covid but they never wore a mask in their life. Now they still wear their contaminated masks that don’t help because the media took their common sense away
