Barring other aggrivating factor, certainly.

Now, some kids do poorly with vaccines, or are already immunocompromissed, or specific allergies to components mentioned by the makers. Those folks, its sensible to not get vaccinated.

In the end, its akin to getting in a car; you can do so without an accident an overwhelming amount of time, regardless of when you do it. Modify your behaviors to not drink, to avoid high congestion areas, drive daylight hours, etc., and you can extremely reasonably minimize your susceptibility to becoming a traffic fatality even further. Put on a seat belt, and the risk becomes even more infantesimal.

Shocking that I'd listen to the advice of their pediatrician and my uncle that is a doctor.

so you are okay with people not getting vaccinated if their doctor or pediatrician says it’s unnecessary or possibly harmful due to another health condition. interesting.

Yes. I plan on vaccinating my kids once its FDA approved for them.

the covid19 vaccine science is based on 20 year tested science. Its just specific for this virus. So yes its different... but not that different.

If you are vaccinated for flu, polio, measles... anything else... Why would you not get vaccinated for a pandemic virus.

Being the “non-custodial” parent with joint custody we are supposed to agree on medical decisions.

We didn’t agree, my son got the jab because OMG Covid…..
Consulting my attorney he told me not to take it to court as the judges are pro vaxx…

I'll get my daughter vaccinated when it's available for her age group and after talking to her doctor. I don't see a reason to be worried at this point. We've given hundreds of millions of doses without much incident, it's apparent they work, and she has grandparents I don't want to have her give a breakthrough infection to.

Don't have to make that decision for a while though, so happy to just watch the data come in on the trials.
