Two politicians and their families were targeted for their political beliefs. A guy yesterday was targeted for his political beliefs. What's the difference?
The difference is most people don't know who the people in Minnesota were or the details. It was much lower profile. Their lives matter, of course, but you can't compare the two from a "newsworthy" level.
So, you can't say "Did you do XYZ when they were killed, as you are doing XYZ for Charlie Kirk" '
It's a bad comparison.

The killing yesterday is a valid comparison to the killings in Minnesota, in my opinion. I can respect that you don't think so, even if I don't agree with your assessment.
I'm not defending the assassination of Kirk or the media's portrayal of his character. I think it's reprehensible. I just think it's bullshite that conservatives are acting like they're the only ones being targeted. There is a war being fought by both sides, and body counts being lower on one side or the other don't give someone the moral high ground.

It’s already on my calendar as a reminder. My 1 star review will be recorded after the dust settles.

Where are you seeing the MSM facilitate calling the left nazis, a threat to democracy, etc. on a daily basis? You know the difference here, you'll just never admit it.

The Moderate playbook the last 24 hours:
- “both sides” are to blame. (100x+)
- “well, he kind of deserved it” (15-20x)
- “ironic considering his 2A comments” (10-15x)
- Minnesota lawmaker whataboutism (10-15x)
- and had several posters who attempted and are attempting to just completely derail threads hoping to make this disgusting act by the Left disappear.
hilarious

These are sure some weird coping strategies that you people are trying to employ.

I'm repeating myself as I feel obligated to respond because you are responding in a respectful way, but I don't see them as different. Just because Kirk was more famous doesn't change the fact that the people in Minnesota were assassinated for their beliefs.

Biggest issue here on TD but the admins have been hammering them.

Ah, yes, Klark with his ever so original "moderate/centrist" insult. I don't know why you have a problem with people who see the things as something other than black and white.

what nuance have you provided to the discussion?

It’s because you’re a liberal in sheep’s clothing only fanning the flames towards one side. You only say “well both sides do this kind of stuff” after the left tries to kill another republican. It’s disingenuous and your mind is so infected that you don’t see what you’re doing. The dissociation with your kind that are killing people non stop is why yall keep doing it.

I'm a free-market capitalist that wants less regulation and taxes (or at bare minimum, better management of the use of tax revenue) and doesn't care if you want to go to church or wear panties. Sorry if that makes me a liberal sheep.

Make a reminder to do it in a week or 2. Mix it up people!
Or do facebook, yelp, or BB. Much harder to get those removed. Especially if you talk about the business not about Charlie Kirk.

How many people rushed to celebrate the Minnesota killing?
I'll wait while you find two tweets with no likes. Meanwhile there are tweets with over 400k celebrating Kirk's death. So NO, they aren't even in the same fricking galaxy of sameness.

you do understand why it’s difficult for anyone to believe this based on your post history over the last 24 hours. right?

And the answer to that is: No, it was obviously just shite talk on social media. You can downvote all you want, but in the adult world, that’s the answer.
Wrong. The DA investigator should at least pay him a visit.

In most cases likely. But let's not forget it's located in the democrat cesspool of New Orleans.

Whether it's sincere or not, who knows. He's probably just trying to protect his business now that he realizes he didn't skirt the line, he completely shite on it.
He is definitely groveling. It's hard to believe someone who was so vehement for so long suddenly had a genuine change of heart, but he is groveling, like a Gollum trying to save his business.
Time will tell if he is sincere. Time will also tell if his business survives.
