Pretty sure it went through just didn’t work. Every news outlet is saying after 2 lethal injections she was snoring

Missed vein or vein collapsed. She hadn’t been eating or drinking so some are speculating that cause dehydration and weaker veins. Not enough meds entered the blood stream.

If true, then the drugs must have expired or been a bad batch. Pretty sure all
other botched lethal injections have all been due to a failure to properly inject the drugs.

That’s a large volume of fluid to not see it infiltrate??

Also high dose potassium? She’d let you know it was not going into the vein. I assume she was not very well sedated. No idea what annectine does to surrounding tissue when injected non IV.

Put me in the room. Give me a couple docs I’ve worked with to back me up. 95% chance I’m getting the line. Other 5% an ER doc can get something.

Pushing the meds?? Yeah I don’t know.??

I’m blind to how executions work but after they administered the lethal ejection her body slowed down to a point she was snoring. Could they “miss the vein” but she could still get some of it to make her body feel it?

frick that and frick you - you kill someone, your life is forfeit. no sliding rule, no punishment scale - you set the precedent, and you follow through with the accountability for ones actions.

The Second Criminal (Penitent Thief / "Good Thief"): Rebuked the first man, admitting that they deserved their punishment for their crimes, but stating that Jesus was innocent. He then turned to Jesus and prayed, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom."

Yeah, that isn't showing support for state sponsored death penalty. That is just showing the guy repenting for his sins and accepting his fate.

lol, God you are so wrong.

I'm talking facts here, not some fantasy made up in your head.

There are currently about 160,000 in prison right now convicted of murder.

Only 2,200 of them are on death row.

So it's actually, you kill someone, your life is forfeit!
unless you're one of the 98.6% of people that are convicted of murder and don't get the death penalty.

shite I've seen sentences as low as 20 years for murder. They don't even keep records to know how many murderers have served their sentence and are out as free men to be able to add that to the 160,000 number still currently serving.

I'll never understand why they make this so expensive and complicated. Just give her the cheapest anesthesia to put to sleep and pump her with a few grams of fentanol. Call it a day.

Air in a vein is cheaper than that, but even that is likely more expensive than a 22 to the head

Are any of the manufacturers of the drugs used still boycotting selling to state governments or their prison systems due to being used for executions?

I remember when Nitrogen started to be used because of this.

It would not surprise me if some failures are caused by an activist somehow.

The thief stated that they deserved to be put to death for their crimes - Jesus was right there. He surely could have chimed in and stated that no one should be executed, correct?

I guess. Choosing to go against all Christian teaching and current leadership stances because "well Jesus didn't not say it was wrong that one time" is a bold move.
