The reason a mri looks like an etch a sketch is because they strap you to this machine that shakes you really fast just like a etch a sketch

Not necessarily. That's only true if you're giving IV contrast.

1. That’s what any baby in utero looks like on CT or MRI

2. MRI is mostly fine during pregnancy, CT however is not. The only time it’s really not is with contrast. In fact, if you can’t get info from an ultrasound, then you try MRI instead of CT
