This guy does a training with marines and freak that! That would scare the shite out of me and I don’t think I would make it.

Crazy to think these guys are trained to stay inverted with the chopper until they get situated to escape. Goes against everything you would think instinctively.

That is hard enough during the day I can’t imagine in the middle of the night doing that.

I have done HUET a few times and what happens IRL is the Helo hits harder than you can be prepared for and you panic

When a helo goes in, you rarely hear about anybody getting out. Those guys went through the training, too.

I used to teach a water safety class, and we did that drill. I know I can do it.

First place I swam competitively was on a navy base. They had the helicopter on a track system that slammed it into the water. It almost always rolled over. Full flight suit makes it tougher, but some of those baws could barely swim and made it out ok. Pretty sure I've seen them doing it with a blackout visor as well. Have always wanted to try it out.

I’ll raise your HUET to my T-HUET

Everyone who has worked offshore has done that shite. It was no big deal. We had one guy who didn’t pass first go.

Got my HUET card babay!
Protip: schedule that class for the summer time

I saw it in an Officer and a Gentleman. I think I could pull it off.
