could someone make re usable turf tape?

Talking to some of my high school football players and was shocked to find out there’s no such thing as re usable turf tape (first time working at a school with turf so never dealt with it before.) this shocked me and got me thinking this could be a really good product if it’s possible to make a re usable turf tape. It would probably need to be washer safe because it would get nasty pretty quick, and wouldn’t necessarily need to be as good as the disposable turf tape we already have, since that can still be used for game day, but because of the price of turf tape some kids would be willing to buy the reusable tape for practice purposes I would guess. Any ideas how this could be done?

This is an excellent first world problem for today
“I cant reuse my turf tape.”

It's called a sleeve.

My kids just wore compression sleeves.
Not only is turf tape not reusable but for the kids that are actually playing it has to be reapplied during the games.

would be a shite ton easier to find ways to make it cheaper vs reusable.

quote:yeah you guys are all correct but some act like their kids just have to use turf tape and seems like creating reusable turf is a good product these kids would buy up. I mean it’s not like under armour was necessary either, there was plenty of ways to keep warm but it still blew up as a product anyway.

Wouldn't want any primary ballcarriers in compression sleeves. Fumble waiting to happen

A big roll of a tube sleeve might work, especially for practice. They come in different sizes, not expensive, can be doubled layered, and they are lighter, cheaper, and often stay in place better than traditional compression sleeves.

I can’t see how you could make an adhesive strong enough to stick for any reasonable amount of time and then be reapplied

Sleeves help cause fumbles

We will get right on that...right after we perfect the reusable tampon

There are sleeves with the same tack as receiver gloves on the inner arm.
