Honestly, he’d have a helluva lot more advocates if he had a better cleanup plan.

I don't think people realize that New Orleans public works is going out tomorrow to dismantle structures and fish homemade rafts out the bayou that attendees built and left out there for someone else to cleanup.

what leverage does zeller have though?

any other outfit could start a festival at the bayou and have the same success

Citizens clean out the storm drains in exchange for having the city clean up their rafts. Seems fair to me.

Why would you want to float around in water where people sink their cars for insurance fraud? I remember a few years ago someone drove into the bayou and drowned and they pulled out like 20 cars looking for the one that went in.

Left Parlay’s and drove into the bayou. Probably wasn’t the first time that happened

If anyone can get them to move to Jefferson Parish, it’s Chris Roberts! Oh, wait...

They have outgrown the location IMO, the neighborhood is no longer an advocate for the festival, they want it gone

Move it to Bayou Segnette, let the alligators attend, too.

City gov needs to slow their roll. Always trying to monetize and capitalize on New Orleans' culture.

If you don't like the fest or think it looks dirty, then don't go. But plenty of people enjoy the experience. You're kidding yourself if you think Jazz Fest or Mardi Gras is a "clean" experience

They could always see about moving to City Park or Lafreniere Park. Plenty of festival space and could keep the water feature.

Maybe the guy should concentrate on getting 4-5 good bands instead of 50+ boring local acts people could go see any time they wanted.
