Could 300bil fix Louisiana?

Iran is getting 300b.
I wonder what that amount of money would do for LA.
There's 1.8mil households in LA. That gives each house $166,666.
State budget is $47b. Give that money to the govnt, a lot of crooks going get rich.
I just would love to see LA prosper.

There’s no amount of money that would fix Louisianastan. It would all get stolen before it ever did anything positive.

Well, maybe if you can get countries from the Middle East to send us $300 billion to abandon building nukes like they are Iran, we could find out.

If you gave every Louisiana citizen (adults & children) each $167k, in two years 90+% of them would be in worse financial condition than they presently are today.

Do you remember when riverboat casinos were approved, politicians promoted them as a way to generate money for schools, roads, and other state services without raising taxes? We are last in everything. The politicians would 100% steal it like they do everything else

They must have forgotten all of the Escalades in the Lower Ninth Ward after Katrina. Damndest thing I ever seen was all the fancy cars in the driveways of flooded and damaged houses in early 2006.
