It always makes me sad when people here say they go and fill up on the samples
When you eat the free food it raises the cost for everybody

People that do shite like this are the same type of people who bitch when stores raise pricing (partly to cover this type of BS) and accuse them of being greedy.
You're trash
You're trash

People like you are the reason Costco now has a time limit on electronics returns.
Is this a recent change? I've never done it but read online about people returning audio receivers to Costco well after warranty periods

Better off doing that at Walmart

I went to Walmart a couple years back right after Memorial Day weekend walked pass customer service and saw three different black people in line returning grills. lol. True story.
Also a true story, I saw one returning a 1/2 eaten bag of M&Ms and 1/2 a 20 ounce Coke in Lafayette.

They changed the policy to 90 days in 2007. link
Thanks. Evidently some electronics that aren't listed under that policy (ex. Audio receivers) are excluded and can still be returned later than 90 days.
That being said, people who abuse the return policies are trash

If you are that strapped for money why don’t you just not buy whatever you want to put in the ice chest. Problem solved

Agree with the backpack cooler. Also, if you are staying in a condo, just leave it there for the next person. When we went last year, the condo had maybe a case of random beer and about half a 1/2 gallon of vodka plus tons of water. We left a bunch when we left. Also bought an ice chest and left it. If staying in a hotel just do what the person said and offer it to someone. Don’t be the person that takes shite back

I know a guy that returned a 10 year old grill to Costco. Jerk has 2 million $ homes.

When we get to Hawaii the first thing we do after getting the rental car is head to Walmart and buy food, drinks, a cooler, beach mats and various other stuff we have no intention of hauling back and forth. On the last day, we always fly out in the afternoon so we head to the beach for one last time and pack all the unopened food and drinks in the cooler and find a family that looks like they just arrived and offer it and the beach mats etc to them. The first family almost always takes it and the only thing we ask is they do the same on the last day before they leave.
Buying a cooler and other stuff is a small expense in the grand scheme (plus the cooler saves money and time). Just do the right thing, it ain't hard.
We always do the same thing when we vacation. Either just leaving the toys at the VRBO in Florida or food after our annual trip to my wife's company's lakehouse. If you can't afford to buy a cooler and pay it forward, perhaps you should just stay in the continental 48.
