You do understand that many of your "freedoms" are conditional, right?

some people cant breathe

That's why mass testing is the only real answer. I don't necessarily advocate testing everyone is areas where the virus isn't particularly common, but we need to be able to test massive groups of people in places like NYC, if we're going to beat this thing.

Veneto beats the virus.

Seems like the science behind higher temps putting a damper on this is still up in the air, but I did see Louisiana is suppose to have some record highs this week. Surely that can’t hurt

I everyone agrees that warmer temps will have *some* impact. People just disagree about how much.

Experts generally agree that coughing is the main way that COVID-19 spreads, through microdroplets in the air that other people breathe in.

We know from flu (which is also spread a lot by coughing) that warm humid air means that those droplets travel only about half as far as they would in cold, dry air.

Warm, humid air definitely helps some.

It kinda makes it the perfect storm for pandemic bug tho. Recruits a bunch of super spreaders for whom it’s nothing....crushes the remainder.

I made it very clear that I don't intend on working in that warehouse for more than 2 years.

That should tell you all you need to know. They’re desperate for warm bodies and if they can get 2-years out of you, they’re happy. Sounds like they have a loyalty issue and had one long before this all started.

Think on it, but keep yourself safe. You don’t owe them anything.

During the outbreak in Italy there has been a decline one day and then the next it spikes again. Just want to see the trend continue for a few days before I say the peak is over.

Italy has been experiencing reductions in exponential growth for the last five days. Looking at total new cases is ineffective.

If day one has one case and it grows by 1000%, then there will be ten new cases on day two.

If on day two, growth drops to 200%, then there will be twenty new cases on day three.

People see 20 and day “oh no, it’s doubled since yesterday” when the fact of the matter is that exponential growth actually dropped by 80%.

Warm humid air helps when people are experiencing symptoms and know they have the flu. People can be asymptomatic and whoring around town and making out with people attending family events etc and Bam another outbreak 2 weeks later.

The only solution is more cowbell.

Ancillary to freedom of speech which the United States Supreme Court has continually held can be regulated under neutral time/place/manner restrictions. You don't have a generic freedom to gather, it's connected to political speech.

Next?
