Thanks for the information.

Based on Italy, sounds like distancing and voluntary quarauntine likely won't even be that effective.

We are treating based on chest CT or using the last swabs only for intubated p.ts

So I know this is dumb, but why save the last swabs for intubated patients? To know when to wean them off? Just figured it'd be for those who are symptomatic but negative flu and what not. Not questioning -- just trying to understand.

How, at this point, with all that is going on do you still not realize it's just beginning?

So what if it's the beginning? Around 80% of these cases are producing mild to no symptoms at all.

And? The mortality rate from this disease is currently at .65% in the state of New York.

Hope you and the family recover quickly. Are you recovering at home? What, if any, meds do they have you on?

Bet this isn’t the first time you’ve become familiar with a sickly Prince Albert

If you’ve got Prince Albert in a can, you better let him out before he suffocates!

Yep I was just going to say, the army is next. I kind of thought the Italians would be hard to keep indoors. I think we will have a similar situation here unfortunately. People will go to the grocery, then their friends house, then the pharmacy, then someone else’s house for a gathering and on and on. It will be very hard to replicate what the Chinese and South Koreans did.

So I told you guys I would keep you posted. My test results confirmed I am positive for covid. My wife and two girls age 12 and 15 positive as well.

Hang in there. One day at a time. Plenty of fluids and rest. Use acetaminophen for fever not ibuprofen.

Jenn, how long does it take to clean the CT area after doing a CT scan for this? Saw one doc say their place is taking an hour and just wondering what it is like at your place.

Wife just went to the grocery store. Shes super pissed that we had to postpone our wedding, but people are shoulder to shoulder in the store touching everything and that's ok.

Yes during the shutdown people will still get the disease. That’s ok. We want to be building herd immunity during that time, we just want to control how quickly it happens.

Some groceries will have designated times for elderly only. Then they will clean the store.

She came back with a gallon of whiskey, beer, and pickled quail eggs. I'll call her whatever the hell she wants.
