One could make the argument that goes both ways and they can't MAKE you do anything to keep your employment when this dies down and the contract is no longer suspended.

I can’t speak for everyone, but I think most medical professionals will feel compelled to help. I don’t think anyone will expect you to work around the clock. There will be an initial wave and then things will cool off.

So he possibly caught it from someone after he went home. See I can play hypotheticals without evidence too.

That would be scary.

Even providers here are freaking out and letting go of common sense.

I have the on call phone for infection control. I’ve gotten a few calls where a provider(sadly this has been mostly NPs) has freaked out because the respiratory pathogen panel came back positive for coronavirus

The freaking strain that has been around forever and NOT COVID-19.

Well so he only tested positive once

I’m guessing he tested positive when he was first hospitalized and then released weeks later when he finally tested negative...only to test positive a second time after it appeared he recovered.

Ha that's kinda funny. Everyone is so stressed. I am not actually worried about the virus as much as supplies and capacity. I am far more worried for the STEMIS and strokes that can't get helped fast enough or that we don't have supplies for. I almost wish I had already gotten it so I could work without any fear

They should know that. Maybe at the clinics they don’t order this panel often on adults so they forget? Usually they just do a rapid flu/rsv and leave it at that.

Pretty common test done on kids though.

From Fox4 in Dallas, huge waits at DFW airport customs as people try to get back in.

If anyone hasnt seen Chernobyl yet on HBO its a great watch.

I feel like I am having repeated conversations with Dyatlov that the RBMK reactor exploded, only to be told it can't explode and that I am an idiot.
