Home depot sells bidet hoses for like $50. It's worth getting even if you're not in panic mode.

South Korea confirmed 110 more cases of the COVID-19 compared to 24 hours ago as of midnight Friday local time, raising the total number of infections to 7,979. One more death was reported, lifting the death toll to 67. The total fatality rate stood at 0.84 percent.

I agree.

But can we be honest about how SK's data isn't perfect? We keep criticizing China but SK's numbers are skewed. And I think SK is doing an excellent job of testing and their data is accurate, its just not representative.

Their sample size is:
66% female (females do better)
Only 20% over 50 yo (older do worse)

All I'm asking is to call balls and strikes on all the data.

Yeah... I mean... generally the guy was agreeing with the 'derp derp, do you need the government to do everything for you' argument of someone else. As if relying on the government to solve a pandemic is a sign of weakness or non self-reliance. Reality is, there is shite that is far beyond the capacity of the people, on their own, to solve without coordinated government action.

He also doesn't see how the NBA cancelling games when two players tested positive did anything or was necessary. Trust me, he's worth ignoring moving forward.

Explain to me what it helped

If the nba played without fans, those players would be around 30 people during games

Now that they don’t have nba games, they are still going to be around 30 or more people a day. What gives? The players that tested positive were going to be self quarantined with or without the season being cancelled

Most logical posters like salmon and others that disagree with me in whole, are the cancellations of games without fans doesn’t do anything

It’s almost like people don’t want this shite to go away. If cases are going down in a country with over a billion people, it’s a good thing for America no matter how much you weirdos try to spin it.

The theory is that there are people walking in the stands that don't know they have it. By congregating thousands of people together there's an amplified possibility that person (or people) gives it to many others.

And before he says "without the fans is what I'm talking about," you still have hundreds of players/coaches/personnel/facility workers that would have been exposed as well, who would then take it into their own personal circles, and so on.

I for one believe an autocratic government that controls all of its media and stats being put out. They can be trusted to be honest to their people and the rest of the world.

Way more than 30 people. Each team has a 12 man roster with other that don't dress, coaches, training staff, officals, and support staff. There will still need to be a good amount of people to run the building etc. Way more than 30 people.

Nope. Mortality Rate by def is no of deaths/ total pop. Pop of Italy is approx 60.48M. Most are thinking of the case fatality rate (of 6.7%) which is no of deaths/ no of cases. Look it up.
