I don't believe anything the Chinese government says, but I read somewhere in this thread that China's numbers were coming straight from the WHO now.
Is that not the case?

It’s correct. Mortality or death rates are based on total pop. For Italy, that’s 60.48M. Case fatality rate would be 6.7% which is no of deaths/ No of cases

Russia with only 45 cases and no deaths. I would give almost anything for Trump to announce in his next press statement that he is extremely impressed with Russia's success on containing the virus and protecting their people and is going to schedule phone talks with Putin about how America can adopt whatever measures they are using.
