science say this:
40-70% of the US population will be infected over the next 12-18 months. After that level you can start to get herd immunity. Unlike flu this is entirely novel to humans, so there is no latent immunity in the global population.
[We used their numbers to work out a guesstimate of deaths— indicating about 1.5 million Americans may die. The panelists did not disagree with our estimate. This compares to seasonal flu’s average of 50K Americans per year. Assume 50% of US population, that’s 160M people infected. With 1% mortality rate that's 1.6M Americans die over the next 12-18 months.]
Again, so 1,600,001 US deaths on or before 3/13/21, right?
Quit being a bitch and acknowledge the terms.

Science also said we’d be out of oil in the 90’s and by now, there should be no polar ice caps. Among other things.
Are you a lib?
I don't think trusting in science is a criteria you want to use to separate republicans and democrats.

If the weather stuff posted late last night is true then then we should see a pretty steep drop in infections come summer. And in the South starting pretty much now.
Although the crazy thing about this, and the crazy thing about the all the cancellations, is this thing will still be here come next late fall/winter. If no one is ok with anyone catching this virus at an event are we just not going to have events for the next year and a half until a vaccine is rolled out?

Mr Perfect
That means over 3 billion people will be globally affected and there will be anywhere from 150 million to hundreds of million dead.
Scruffy isn’t sure who you are reading, but they aren’t scientists and those aren’t facts.

With 1% mortality rate
Nowhere close to a million Americans will die from this. I would be shocked if the number approaches 50k in the next 12-18 months.

The mortality rate is no where near 1%.

here's two facts for ya
A. between 40-70% of all USA will get it
B. 1.6 milli of us will die in next 12-18 months
Did you forget about part of the "facts" you posted?

How certain are you of the projected deaths? $100? $1k? $10k?
