Are you 70+ with underlying health issues or just incredibly unlucky?
Posted on 3/5/20 at 1:36 pm to Oates Mustache
I have had some bad luck. But just got blood work and a bunch of tests done because I had a pinched nerve and thought I was dying. Came out with a clean bill of health.

As someone who has grandparents in their 80s and 90s and a niece who is a Type 1 Diabetic - those are not comforting numbers.

If you are, you are one of the few I have seen fan the flames with somewhat fear mongering tactics

About the time Mississippi State gets to the Natty I'm gonna get sick and die. Dammit I have the worst luck and timing ever.

Actually it is about the same percentage divided by 10. So take every death rate by age of the flu and multiply it by 10. The distribution is the same just with 10x higher mortality rate. Nice try tho.

Do you think its a cowinkydink the country who has done exponentially more testing, also happened to be the country with a mortality rate far lower than anyone? A mortality rate at about 0.4-0.6%?

"Coronavirus has a 0% morality rate in the US southern states"
We could then run with those numbers and act like it means nobody can die in the south
However, that would be dumb. Lets not be dumb

He is worried about the coronavirus mortality rates, which are skewed and still low, while not realizing his grandparents beat the over 50% chance they should already be dead

I just heard on a podcast that Italy was initially testing everyone with symptoms. Then they ran short on test kits so they are only testing patients A) that have a known contact to infected patient B) that is symptomatic and has a travel history to China, Korea, etc.
Which podcast? Just curious to know which podcasts are talking about this because it sounds interesting.

doesn't look promising but keep telling yourself it is just a mild flu

I like it, can we change the title of thread admins
Corona has global 3.8% mortality rate - 0% mortality in SEC states. SEC tops again.

I dont know what yates is worried about. The numbers show he has a 0% chance of dying if he lives in MS
Not my opinion, just what the numbers show
