Mitigation efforts are obviously working but it is interesting that many states bottom out and then start to rebound. I think the 2nd wave could be worse than the 1st and it will like come in the early Fall.
Unrelated, South Korea continues to be one of the leading examples of how to deal with this virus. They had a 2nd wave start to emerge and cases spiked at 400 the other day and they reacted quickly and got them back down in the teens. I'm just not sure that the US and other Western countries are willing to submit to that kind of rigorous monitoring and response.
Also, SK is doing some of the most extensive follow on monitoring in the world and they continue to find "reactivated" patients.

Well if that’s truly the case, frick it... might as well go back to life at normal bc this shite is just going to go on for the next 1.5yrs.
Sounds like the remdivir or whatever may be a semi silver bullet, so mass produce that shite, insta test people with symptoms, and put them on the drug.

Interesting. Thanks for posting. Way back when this all started, it was one of the drugs that was initially being tested and the results being reported then indicated it was largely ineffective. I certainly hope this report is true.

Def not the silver bullet but the few studies out there initially show some success.
Again, I’ll take something over nothing.
