I'd like to know how much this shindig and the pre-shindig they had and the funeral all cost combined. The largest welfare family in the world just eats through the funds.

They’re like LSU football. They put more money back into the treasury each year than they take out.

I missed the live broadcast, but I went back and watched the entire thing on YouTube, which has the direct video and audio feed without any announcers or commentators. It was really cool watching it that way. The music was fantastic.

Kate and Sophie (Princess of Wales and Duchess of Edinburgh) aren't Knights of the Garter, they are wearing robes of the Royal Victorian Order.

I think the only current immediate Royal outside of Charles and William that is part of the Knights of the Garter is Camilla.

It gets a bit repetitive just looking at jewels but 100% a visit to see the jewels if you are ever in the UK. I teamed it with a Buckingham palace tour one year for my birthday and it was a great day out.

Edward and Anne are Knights of the Garter, I think the Duke of Gloucester (cousin) is one as well...
