re: Cornell University Situation Is Going To Turn Into Another Duke Lacrosse Case Isn't It?

It isn't in the middle though because she admitted to complete consent to multiple threesomes with multiple different guys
When one guy wanted a foursome she said no and he said ok and didn't do it
Where is this information coming from? I admit that I have seen no original source document. I have not seen this reported by any news organization. I am not disagreeing with you, I just haven't seen it.

They took advantage of this girl whether she legally consented or not. What they did was morally wrong
How can someone take advantage of a person if they're a willing participant? She was completely okay with the situation, and maybe it turned into more than she planned on, but everyone there was drunk, on drugs, or both. She even wanted to hang out with them a few days after and "smoke" again.
It seems wild by our standards, but there really are girls who like being the star of a fraternity. See LSU's very own Livvy Dunne lookalike "door girl."

The story is also the Snapchat group with 57 members invited to have a turn with a girl who was blackout drunk/ high.
Anyone who saw the message, and didn’t think to shut it down and get this girl a cab home should be ashamed of themselves.

You know that porn is entertainment fantasy and not real life right
You know that there are things like sex parties where you can do damn near everything you see in porn, right?

Of course. But if the group orgy involves 7 men or possibly more and only one female, and said female is drunk and has been snorting ketamine, then things can get out of hand pretty quickly. To be clear I am not necessarily saying that all these men should be charged with sexual assault. More facts will need to come out. But neither side seems to contest that this started off as a threesome between a girl and two guys, before multiple guys who weren’t initially involved began coming into the room. From the group chat, it appears that the men were invited into the room not by the girl herself but from one of the guys who had been giving her drugs with the promise of “free pussy”. The guy himself even apologized to the girl for “not shutting it down” and “letting it get out of hand”. It could be that this was a spontaneous orgy that broke out and the girl enjoyed every second of it. The circumstances paint a picture of a girl who was heavily intoxicated and agreeing to sex with two boys who then plied her with more drugs and alcohol before alerting their buddies that she was available to use as they pleased. If you don’t see a moral problem with that then I don’t know what else to tell you.

She herself didn't have an issue with any of it until her reputation was tarnished. So either all participants are immoral or none of them are.

Girl power! (Except when it comes to personal accountability for your actions, then it's the evil men's fault only)

It is, no doubt, a moral problem. I'm not convinced it's a legal problem.

You are making good points here, but this place is not reality.
Not a lot of father of the year responses.
It’s as if none of the posters in this thread have daughters, sisters, or female cousins that they would want to be respected.

I'm doing my best to not raise my daughter to be a whore. But if she ends up that way, best believe I'll hold her accountable for her actions.

She can't control if a bunch of POSs decide to take advantage of her (still don't concede that happened in this instance though). But she absolutely can control putting herself in situations where that can happen. My parenting philosophy is control what you can control.

I'll repeat what I said in the poli board thread. she is a whore and they are degenerates. there's not much else to this.

Those choices have consequences. Instead of accepting those consequences, she's now crying rape and figs like you are here to knight for her.
What are the consequences you're talking about exactly?
How should a whore be held accountable?

She also wrote, "non(e) of the sexual stuff was illegal." She said she liked being with him and another man. Later, she suggested they smoke together again, "but like leave out the extra 5 billion men and ketamine."
New text releases

The woman texted back that “at the end of the day non of the sexual stuff was illegal” and that she had liked being with the two men.
But by Oct. 23, 2024, she was growing distraught that word of the episode had spread around campus. Soon, she saw a post in an online forum about campus Greek life that asserted that Chi Phi brothers had gang raped a sophomore and should be reported.
“That’s the first time I had ever heard the narrative change that I wasn’t a whore and that I was assaulted,” she later told investigators.
In the days after that post, her tone became more aggrieved — “how could you let this happen?” — as she kept communicating with the first Chi Phi brother who'd texted her after the party. Still, she planned to attend the fraternity's Halloween Party until she was disinvited.
I could be a monster, but this seems pretty clear cut that she got embarrassed and claimed rape to save face.

Not all consequences are legal. They might not even be negative depending on your point of view.
