Is Piazza related to Mike Piazza, former baseball player?

This is the reason people like SWB, and JBE always get elected. The Right always buries there own, and kills whatever base they may have.
Piazza is the worst kind of RINO
He voted for both Sharon Weston Broome and Obama
He supports John Bel Edwards

He will siphon off all of the Republican votes in his former representative district which is the area around Southdowns and Highland Road south of LSU.
FIFY. He only ran for Senate against Franklin Foil and lost. His old district actually followed the I-10 Corridor from Just north of Dalrymple all the way to the Highland Rd. Exit.

The only ways you do that are to either shut down the golf course that is fertilizing that algae bloom or spend millions on a treatment system that filters them out beforehand. Lose/Lose for any mayor

Word on the street is that a big money democratic donor is behind Piazza getting into this race with the plan to keep Watson from making the runoff
This seems all too likely

As a friend of piazza, this seems pretty bold, especially for the guy with zero political experience
Piazza isn't even liked by his own family.

Yup, very likely someone paying Piazza to knock off Watson.
Watson will be my first vote.
If he does not make the runoff and Wicker does it will be her.
Unless E Eric “ E Superman”Guirard wears his E Superman suit to the first debate for Mayor President of EBRP. Then I got to give him my vote the first time around for his style. Lol!
Come on E we know you are lurking let us hear your campaign speech.

Ethics Administrator Kathleen Allen, who has not seen the lawsuit and could not comment on the allegations, confirms Watson has settled all his obligations with her agency. She says the website was not updated until late yesterday, so it did not immediately reflect that he had paid his fines. “We would not object to his candidacy,” she says. “He came to our office. He paid his late fees. He qualified later that day.”
So there is no issue. Piazza is a slimeball. For not knowing anything about him previously, he sure did a great job of exposing what kind of greasey bastard he is.

I’m talking about the litter constantly floating in the lakes not the algae bloom.
