A 44 magnum is only about 5 decibels higher than a 9mm. You know what is a lot louder? The short barrel ARs they carry.

I think cops should be allowed to carry what they feel comfortable with, so long as the gun can meet certain factors and the cop can qualify with it. The real reason they don't do this anymore is fear of lawsuits, so they have to pick 1 gun for everyone, which usually means it's the gun that the weakest and worst shooters can qualify with.

Light recoil is a tactical feature.

He certainly was. He knocked up my mother in Slidell and their respective families were embarrassed.
