To be fair, I heard them say get inside over 5 times and then they specifically pointed at them and told them to "get inside now!" and I am pretty amazed that they just decided they weren't going to listen even when the gun was aimed in their direction. They were very bold.

I skew pretty libertarian but recognize that we do need law enforcement to some degree. They shouldn't be able to force people in their homes under the threat of violence either.

Yeah, that scene actually reminds me of what Boston looked like in the wake of the marathon bombing.

are we saying there isn’t a difference in what’s taking place the last few nights and those resisting Stay at Home Orders? Let’s shift those goal posts a bit

Just curious how that could be construed as a legal police order.

Look, I don't know what's legal and what's not legal and whether they had any right to do that at all. I'm just saying that the people on the porch were bold because if I saw all those dudes coming down my block and they hollered that at me, even if I thought it was overkill, I would just go inside because there are more of them and it's obviously a strange time/circumstances.

Once we throw law out the window there's absolutely no difference between the guys who wear badges and the folks they are fighting.

Every single one of them should be fired immediately.

I seriously don't know what they can and can't do there or whether that was some special situation happening there. If it wasn't and it was just regular curfew enforcement, then they are wrong and should be punished because people can be outside on their own property during curfews.

I'm just saying they were bold not to just go inside and let them pass. I personally wouldn't have given them the chance to shoot that crap at me.

CBS affiliate in Minneapolis reporting those were not police officers, they were the national guard deployed by the Governor to enforce the curfew.

You're allowed to be out on your porch during curfew.

I saw four or five turn around. Not all of them fired but certainly more than one.
