That is what I said when this story first came out before the video and was lambasted that if a cop can't subdue an 11 year old they shouldn't be a cop. How about he run down and tackle the girl? Let's see how that would go. Cop was in a NO win situation.

Earlier this week there was a story about racial profiling in a grocery in New Orleans. The guy videoed the security guard following him in the store. What was never said in the story was the guy was wearing a coat IN NEW ORLEANS IN AUGUST. The security guard was fired for profiling.

Isn't a taser a non lethal way of subduing a suspect?
I think tazing is a good punishment for juveniles who get caught doing various crimes. A little shocking could make a good long term impact for them.

Piggly Wiggly pulled two stores out of black neighborhoods (Delmont Village and North Donmoor) because the locals were stealing them blind. The funny part is some prominent "members of the community" urged them to keep the stores open because they employed people from the neighborhood and performed a service for the locals.

It beats getting laid out by a 250 pound grown arse man. And limits liability to the police departments. Tasing really doesn’t leave any kind of injuries. A tackle might break some bones.
