Serena Williams. Chatted for a few minutes while waiting in line to board a flight from Orlando to Newark. We didn't talk about tennis, just about some rude passenger and their verbal assault on the gate agent.

I’m willing to bet my retirement fund that you have no ball autographed by a Varnell Singleton.

Okay, I misspelled it.. But I do have a ball with Vernel Singleton autograph. I have it in a case on a top shelf, if you want, when I can. I will take pictures of it if you don't think I am telling the truth.

I saw a very large black man walking across a parking lot the other day. He had a big white beard.
After I drove a little way further down the street it dawned on me that he was Karl Malone.

Gotta respect that side hustle.

Reminds me of my most recent run in with a pro athlete. I gave Duke Riley an Uber ride from the airport the Saturday after the first Saints-Falcons game. He was cool, but didn't tip

Ben Sheets. He was cool as hell to hangout with and he was just a straight up athlete. He was draining half court shots all night on his basketball court.

I've posted the entire story on here before but I hung out with Gronk for a few hours at a table at Pure (now Omnia) in vegas about 7 years ago and it was incredible

No, mispelling would be Vernell.

Mispelling and mispronouncing is Varnell.

It would be like me bragging that I hung out and got to know that awesome LSU running back, Darren Gice,

John Daly. He was in town for the David Toms/Hal Sutton charity tournament they used to have every year. I was working the tournament and he pulls up late, gets out of the car drinking a beer, and telling us how much money he had won at Horseshoe the night before. Met Ozzie Smith there too. Davis Love was a prick.

Those are the choices in the range I gave, but I'm reluctant to get into details because that might have just been a bad day for the guy, and maybe I caught him at a really bad time. And I'd understand that.
