Best halloween story I know, not a pro athlete, but dude was some type of shipping executive for Mars Corporation, and I think some other candy distributors. He would give entire boxes of Snickers, M&M's, etc. to each child. They would walk up, and he would put an entire box of candy in their bag. Easily was the most popular dude in the subdivision.

Do former pros count? Chad Jones is the nicest person in the world.

Shaq.

But this was when he was still at LSU.

My parrain's father-in-law was good friends with Dale Brown and he told Brown that after the season was over he wanted to throw the team a BBQ and let them come over to swim, hang out, etc.

I hung out in the billiards room while Shaq, Varnell Singleton and a few others played pool and Shaq joked around with me the whole time.

Not long after the team arrived they served the food.. Chris Jackson went in, ate lunch, thanked my parrain's FIL then went sit in the bus for the remainder of afternoon. He was a respectful guy, but seemed like he kept to himself.

A few years ago I met Jalen Mills, he is pretty cool. There are several LSU athletes I have met that are or were in the pros.

Met Dalton Hilliard years after he retired from football. He seemed to be pretty cool.

Lolo Jones is really cool and will hang around after she races to take pictures and do autographs until everyone's gotten one.

Blaaaah.

During the season one of my friends went to a Saints game and texted me a picture of a guy who had a "Brooks" jersey on.. I was saying that he had to be wearing it as a joke.. And told him that I should find a Darren Sharper jersey to wear to a game.. It would probably offend some people, but..

He seems like he would be a cool guy to hang out with, but I hate watching games that he calls.

Dale Murphy

Even though I'm not a Braves fan, he and i talked baseball for hours. We watched Rafael Ramirez get turned down by a 15 year old girl. Rafael went after it hard.

Mark Ingram was my next door neighbor for a while. He's pretty cool for a Gump.

Cam Jordan lives down the street at my current house. Only met him once though.

I wonder how many Uber drivers live in Cam Jordan's neighborhood besides you?
