I'm not sure what the LSU Athletic Director or acting President can do about that.

How about since there has been multiple shootings over just a few weeks time, treat that area like Bourbon St on Mardi Gras. Cops, horses, etc.

People were shot ON CAMPUS. This fact doesn’t change.

I was held up at gunpoint after a night of being at LSU bars back in the 80s. It happened outside of Power dorm walking back to the Horseshoe dorms.

Things have gone from bad to ___________

Inside the stadium isn't as problematic.

It's the undesirables coming to campus to wreak havoc.

You laugh, but the campus has been noticeably empty this year except for the Florida game. Every other game has been nowhere near full. It was never this bad in previous years.

Make people buy tailgate permits and if you don’t have one shut them down. The cost increase will weed out the garbage or go to a dry campus which is what they really need to do.

WTF are you talking about? These shootings have nothing to do with Tailgating. There are no tailgates right there where they happened.

It all has to do with a certain demographic that has suddenly started to hang out on the corner.

Simple enough solution before it's too late. On Gamedays Governor Landry needs to place the National Guard there. That'll nip this bullshite from those hood rats in the bud.

Have LSU or more likely, the City, make it to where the owners must have so much security with these "block parties" or "Dj's" that it isn't worth it to them anymore.

So now we want a state college to dictate what a private business off campus can do?

Well, on a sliding scale of impoverishment, the north was always the ghetto to me.

No but a city can require a permit. In Jackson that means insurance and security

I wonder is Mascona and his Boy Ryan Clark will call out these shootings and nonsense going on around campus, they seem to really care about the community.

However they may to busy pushing the narrative that someone driving 90 swerving in and out of traffic had absolutely nothing to do with an accident that killed someone.

They are really helping our youth respect law enforcement. Great Guys.

Are you Jimmy Stewart or Mickey Rooney in a 1940s movie?

Woodward responds to money and/or power.

He could give a rats arse about silly minor tailgating shite.

Fans will still show regardless of the minor issues that you reference.

LSU is quickly becoming primarily a vehicle to provide athletic television content to various networks.

Academics, the college experience, institutional integrity; all fade more into the background with each passing year.

It is sad to see.
