Have you had Consumer Cellular? I'm thinking about switching to them. What was/is your experience with them? I live way out in the country and get 2 bars with other providers. TIA

I doubt that they have their own towers, they probably lease space from one of the big boys. That is the way many of the smaller phone companies operate.

I believe they tie into the AT&T network based on a TV ad from a couple of years ago.

ive wondered about them as well. I don't have any issues with my carrier other than the commercials that CC run stating they offer the same package at about half the cost. Up to now I've been stuck in the "if it sounds to good to be true...." mindset.

Att network minus Att lies and high prices. Been with them for years. Great customer service.

I like how I can change my plan every month. I can lower my data plan and it will automatically bump up if I exceed my plan, then I can lower it the next month.

I believe they run off of ATT towers. I don’t have them, but my parents do and they haven’t had any complaints about them. My parents already owned their phones so they sent them new SIM cards and walked them through the process of getting everything set up. Once our contract is up with ATT we are going to look at them as well.

data is the same? my family uses a lot of data streaming and its nice to have a hotspot as a backup for the crappy Cox internet.

Too many spam calls. Service is spotty sometimes in buildings (New Orleans region).

However, the price is great. The app is easy to use. No complaints on that part.

AT&T needs to learn from their elders then, bc our AT&T internet at the house has been shits we’ve had a wire in the yard they haven’t buried for 7 weeks.

After being forced to trade a phone I liked for one that I could not use I told them to go frick themselves and sent them the new phone in 55 pieces.

I switched to these guys from AT&T about 6 months ago. Yes they run off AT&T towers. Me and my wife own our phones. She really doesn’t use hers hardly. $67 a month for both phones. Can actually talk to someone in customer service pretty quick if you need questions asked.

I use the straight talk from WM , they are running off Att towers. They give me extra benefits from time to time. I am now seeing cheaper plans so I might switch for more data with decrease cost in the future but Im happy right now with Straight talk.

I just switched from Verizon to Visible. They use the Verizon network. The only thing if you were to have a problem their customer service is only chat. No phone number to call
