Its allergies bud Ive dealt with the same problem since i was a kid. Taking some sort of antihistamine at night will help.

This, some days it's comical how much I have to clear my throat.

I'm thinking I may need to see an ENT.

Good for you if you're setting up an appointment.

You could've gone to the ER and racked up hefty bills contributing to high costs of healthcare in this country.

Go to a gasteroenterologist in case it's reflux.

You should ask this on the Texas A&M Forums. I'm sure they have all kinds of solutions for your throat issue

Brah it's allergies.

I will only agree it's reflux if it happens when you lay down at night.

If it happens:
When you get in your car or
When you get to work

That's allergies.

Ima go wit allergies.

Likely either reflux(lpr) or allergies.

Just pick up some OTC flonase/nasonex and pop some twice daily dosing of omeprazole and you've just saved your self a trip to doc.

I like hearing people walking around fruitlessly trying to clear their throat over and over and over again: uhh uhh uhh uhh uhh uhh uhh uhh uhh uhh uhh

uhh uhh uhh uhh uhh uhh uhh

uhh uhh uhh uhh uhh uhh uhh

After a while, you just want to yell, "Shut UP!"

I have same thing. Thought it was allergies tried meds and it didn't work. Finally figured out it is related to reflux. Certain foods like Mexican food cause that sensation of clearing through just like it is an allergic reaction but it is really your stomach. See if your issue is related to eating certain foods.

You should see an ENT first. Most likely mucus is caused by sinus problems but get a doctor's opinion not a ranter's like mine.

Get off of dairy products. You're having an allergic reaction to dairy.

I had the same issue and removing dairy from my diet did the trick.

It wasn't that difficult either. Almond milk is good stuff.
