The simplest explanation is usually the right explanation. In this scenario, the simplest explanation is that Popeye's has had shite workers and customer service for decades. There is no reason to believe recent success would change that culture overnight.

I just ate my first chicken sammich from Popeyes. I wasn’t impressed. Tasted just like a regular chicken breast. I expected some little slice of heaven mixed with sex with Kate Beckinsale

I think they are good, but not wait in line for an hr and fight someone good.
I figured out what makes it better than other chicken sandwiches. Its the bun. They must put a lot of butter on the buns or something.

Haven't eaten anything from Popeye's in years. The ones where I live are nasty as hell and full of culcha.
