Yep. Will cut costs by just venting it into the attic when it should vent all the way outside

Code requires either the exhaust vent or an operable window.

It doesn't actually blow air (that one can feel), remove any smells

if its cheap garbage yes

if you buy a quality one that moves around 300 cfm or better it actually does whats its intended for

as for noise yes they are like small jet engines whining

but you gan get an inline fan and run it with ductwork so its completely silent yet moves a lot of air

Having people know I have recently put catfishes in the tank is a show of dominance and keeps people on their toes when they're at my place. It's my house, I'll do what I want.

Just like God intended. He wouldn't make it stink like that if it wouldn't intimidate people.

First thing I did when we thought our house was take ours out in the master bath. Replaced it with a squirrel fan and routed that vent pipe to go straight out the house. Cleans the hell out of the air in there

Sorry you have the poors…..

Any fan that does not move air is BROKEN...

My dogs like to follow me into the bathroom. When the fan is on, they sit by the door and I can see their hair blowing in the breeze.

removes moisture out the room to outside and the right cfm WILL remove smells.
the must be enough gap around the door or it doesn't work. My in laws guest bathroom is so airtight, the vent doesn't work well

Like others have said, if it moves enough air it'll get the smells out. However, even if it does, the smells have to pass right by your face on their way to the ceiling. It's not ideal.

That's why I'm designing a small vent that sits right between the seat and the tank, so it can suck the smell out at the source, deodorize, and exhaust air freshener smells.

We might have the same in laws. The one by their garage will flat pop your ears if you dont have the door cracked

I love this.

Its one of the things "builders" cut costs on. No bud, its one of the things people dont want to pay for. Why should they put a $3-400 Panasonic in when a $50 broan is what is required and it works just fine?

Always the "builders" fault. Lol.

Because they care about building quality and know there is a difference between the two.
