I have an account for my business. I've never created a personal one. So I don't know what I'm missing I guess.

I never had a Facebook. (I'm 26 btw)

I had CollegeClub.com in the early 2000's, then MySpeace, always FB with a .edu address. I have obviously let 2 lapse. I read FB just to become annoyed with people and and hate the state of the world, I am convinced.

I havent made a post since Novenber and am checking it a lot less since my newsfeed has been overwhelmed with pro vs anti Trump. Non political people seem to be posting a lot less too.

The quickest way to lose respect for a friend or relative is to read their political posts on social media.

I quit facebook a few years ago because I got in trouble with it. I was a hardcore partier in college and it was only pushing me further in that direction because of my own lack of discipline.

I love not having it

I can see giving up Facebook if your phone already has every person you want to contact. For me Facebook Messenger is by far the easiest method for staying in touch with people that are scattered all over the place. Facebook is blocked in China, and I miss Messenger.

You have issues if Facebook has any impact on your life.

Oh, you misunderstand.

A proper metaphor would be something akin to me stop watching a TV show that I hate but just now stopped watching.

If I didn't know any better I'd think you were talking about Trump's Twitter account.

Same here.

41yo.

If I had been single at any time in the past 15 or so years I would probably have gotten an account.

If it had been around when I was in HS or college, I would have probably gotten an account.

These days a text is about the extent of my communication with folks, other than in person. I hate talking on the phone or swapping emails and FB would drive me nuts.

Why do you have to deactivate it or delete it?

I probably haven't looked at FB in 2-3 years. But I still have it just in case I may want to get in touch with someone.

Are you people that week?
