I’m suddenly strangely aroused.......

The doctor was the mother.

The people saying they don't believe her are repeating what was said when Bill Cosby's victims started coming forward. Why wait so long? They just want attention, money, etc.
Now everyone "knows" Cos is guilty, but many, many defended him while woman after woman came forward.

Yeah I guess the timing is weird 50 years later, but I doubt someone who already has money is looking for a pay day 50 years later.
In these people's twisted mind it's cool and hip to have an I was raped story. If you don't have a metoo story you're not a cool kid.

I don’t know and don’t care if this happened to CC. This is for “men” that want to determine how sexual assault victims think, what to feel, and what to do. You jokers are pathetic.
This case really requires a little more investigation considering his literal job was to penetrate her vaginal orifice. I'll wait to hear from the doctor before determining the truth. Is that fair?
Someone dig his old arse up. We need answers.

I’ve driven past his home/office many times but refused to look at it,” she wrote. “Just yesterday, I found the house on Google Maps. Seeing it again, I freaked out.”
Absolutely nothing suspicious about a guy opening up an ob/gyn office in his house.
Like the house on Louisiana Ave in the ghetto in laffy with the big sign on the front that says "Mammograms"

So brave! A true American hero!

It's hard for me to say one way or another. I think a lot of women are grapsing for attention but this approach really detracts from true victims.
I know people who have been victims of sexual abuse. one came forward immediately while one waited. I know one woman who doesn't publicize it on social media (no #metoo posts), etc but has an "open" demeanor about it to some people in our group of friends.
She is very matter of fact about it. "Yeah, I had something happen when I was 18, but I'm not going to share that with the world. It doesn't define me and the world doesn't need to know"
My point is that everyone deals with this differently and it's not my place to pass judgement.
If a woman alledges something and it didn't happen then she's just as shitty as a rapist.

The story makes you feel like it happened within 30-45 seconds.
Exactly! She lay there working her way (mentally) to orgasm. This wasn’t a squeeze and milk the prostrate within seconds.
She actively participated and feels guilty, so she wipes her guilt away by saying she was assaulted.

Did they not have a nurse present for the exam?
Hopefully, more women will come out and explain they’re sexual experiences with this doctor. But, I doubt anyone else will. Mainly because Connie Chung is lying.

That's why I kind of believe her. I mean what's her end game here, publicity? The doctor is more than likely dead so she can't sue nor does she need the money. Surely she wouldn't put herself through the embarrassment just for making it up to be part of the me too movement.

Some people find it hard to believe a doc had a home office.
My parents grew up in separate small towns in Louisiana. The town doctor in each town ran his practice out of his home. One of them was still running his clinic from home in the 70's.

She doesn’t have to be lying for the story to be false. Over 50 years memories can change. People can make themselves believe lots of crazy stories especially when they are trying to rationalize other things in their life.
I don’t think it’s unusual for the doctor to “coach” a patient through their first gyno exam. What is he supposed to do just shove his hand and instruments in there? The only outlier is the orgasm which makes it sound like the doctor was going at it for a few minutes. Maybe Connie Chung has never had an orgasm and she thought what happened there was an orgasm. Who knows, the possibilities are endless. That’s why 50 year old memories shouldn’t be trusted.

Do you think Connie Chung has to make up a sexual assault story to become "relevant" again?
I realize there have been woman who come out and claim sexual assault and it not be true. That happens with anything. There will always be those type of people who will take advantage of situations, but I think it's safe to say that most women who claim sexual assault are not lying.
There are more reasons for a woman not to report sexual assault than there are
for them to report it. The humiliation, the perception people will end up having of her, etc, etc. Why do some of you automatically think a woman is lying?
You really don't know until you see clear evidence, but it's human nature to make a judgement right off the bat.
People do experience things at an earlier age, decide to not say anything at the time but then eventually tells their story. This is common in people who fought in Vietnam. They didn't talk about it when they came back and kept it in for years.
Some people dealt with it in away that caused them to be self destructive. You really don't know what people experienced. I don't understand why people are so quick to think a woman is making shite up when it comes to sexual assault.
Pretty much all of this. I'm guessing the downvotes were mostly from incel losers that post on PT. Then again looking across social media in general there are a lot people that don't understand how trauma damages the mind.

Why would incels downvote that? I don’t think that means what you think it means.
You sound like a big sandy vagina. Everyone has a right to tell their story, but we as a society can’t do anything with 50 year old memories and no evidence. Sorry that’s just the way it is. So no, I don’t give a shite about what Connie Chung thinks happened 50 years ago.
