Not exactly.

The DA has simply changed what they classify as a murder. This is a direct result from pressure by the Mayor’s office to reduce crime statistics and take the spotlight off of NOLA as the murder capital.

only on the OT would something as positive as fewer human beings dying at the hands of other human beings get shite on and made into something negative...

at the end of the day, less people are getting killed on the streets of a major US city, regardless of how or why, so why not celebrate that small victory, first, before scrutinizing the frick out of it...
