Did Finland elect her (an election with her as head of party knowing she would be Prime Minister) or did her party select her in some attempt to help next elections or save coalition due to one coalition member losing confidence in former leader? Picking a woman with the other coalition parties being led by women and mostly young ones seems more about staying in power now and picked for age and gender. I know post is really more about how she looks, but I was just wondering.
I don’t know much about Finland anymore outside of long ago having a foreign exchange student live with us for a year when I was growing up (she did love govt programs but also loved Elvis & had to go see where he was buried), but if not her looks, gender, and age is Transportation minister really that important in their govt to be choice or did the higher ranking jobs under Prime Minister go to coalition members?
