Say I decided to conceal carry without a permit. Someone attacks me and threatens my life and I pull my gun out and kill them. What happens?

How many people do you guys know that open carry? I'd assume you can't open carry in private establishments, so do people that open carry just not go into restaurants and shite? Forgive me for being ignorant. I want to learn.
