If you’re paying attention it’s the Yukon AT4 or the Tahoe Z71

I've seen a lot of Tellurides on the road and have a few friends that have purchased them, but I am having trouble shaking the feeling of driving a Kia.

Very nice - especially with the interior, but some quality and resale issues. Update for 2026 hasn't been shown yet. I like the engine in the Telluride but family members that have had Hyundai and Genesis products have had a lot of issues; Hyundai puts a lot of effort into getting out of warranty work too.

Chevy Traverse

Latest version is a REALLY good vehicle and probably the best of the three. Too new to know resale, but they appear to be a significant leap in quality over its predecessor. The first gen Traverse was hot garbage, the second gen was okay. The third gen (new ones) are what they all should have been IMO.

Jeep Grand Cherokee L

IMO the best looking. Good V6 engine and transmission. The rest is a fairly new Stellantis product, which means you should expect electrical issues and a lot of warranty repairs. It has been in production for a couple of years so they are improving. IMO this is not a bad choice, but I wouldn't expect it to outlast the new Traverse. Maybe the first or second gen Traverse, but not the new one.

We also liked the new Pathfinders

I have the new Pathfinder and really like it, but it's one of the smallest 3 rows available.

It's great as a 2 row vehicle with a minimal use third row.

If planning to use the third row regularly, look elsewhere

Curious as to how did you narrow your choices down to 3 of the worst vehicles available?

I think Nissan went back to a regular auto tranny in the 2024+ models because of all the CVT issues.

Wife is on her third. We have 85K on a 2021 BE. Best vehicle we have ever owned. Coworker bought a $50K Santa Fe Calligraphy and bragged about it. Took it to Disney from Arkansas and Fuel injector shite the bed in Orlando with 6K miles on it.

Without even going into detail, no Toyota, Mazda, or Honda on this list. When it comes to cars this stuff is common knowledge. Jeep, Kia, and Chevy are at the top of no list for reliability.

Kia Telluride and Hyundai Palisade have been voted some of the best SUVs since they came out in 2022.

I didn't vote. If you think it's better then a Highlander, 4runner, Cx90, Pilot, Lexus whatever you're mistaken.

My Gen 3 Tundra that sat at the dealer for months with a locked up engine would love a word. They recalled a lot of ‘23s and with the ‘24s and ‘25s the engine seizing issues continue…

Never heard of a Tundra SUV. Did this happen with the Highlander or 4runner also? Not sure what this has to do with the conversation.

After fighting with my wife's Enclave...the same as the Traverse...I would go for one of the others.

Rear AC went out under warranty. 4 alternators, 3 front motor mounts all before 80K. Are you "handy"? Changing the alternator sucks even if you are.

Check to see if there is a class action suit concerning the 2025 Traverse and transmission issues.

The new Pathfinder is NOT a CVT transmission.

My wife has a 2024 and it's nice.
