Thanks for taking the effort to contact the sil and for letting us know there was funeral.

Honestly I reached out the first time to beg someone to check on him ... every contact made other than that has been the Aunt contacting me.

I just knew there was skepticism and figured that some (not all) would like to know how things went. Maybe it'll put some at ease.

I wrestled many many demons on many many dark nights. Honestly my kids saved me. Hearing “daddy I love you don’t leave me.” Those hugs. Those sweet eyes.

That’s what gets you through. No matter how dark the night is, you have to keep on. You can’t give up. Because the dawn’s gonna break eventually. You’ll have bad days. Sometimes you’ll have worse days.

But a day is 24 hours. It ends. The misery doesn’t last forever.

You just have to hang on long enough to get through the tears to the laughter.

And I still struggle with it. I still get down. But those snuggles and cuddles and I Love You’d are what keeps me going. Because kids need their daddy.

I don't know nor do I need to know what happened -- but I'm so sorry BUT I'm so glad that you've made it with the help of your babies.

Me too friend. But this isn't about me. It's about Brian and this family finding peace.

I'm glad that she has been laid to rest and I hope that CD and his family can push through this and find peace. I am also glad to hear that there is a plan to responsibly manage the GFM funds.

My prayers remain with he and his family.

well your poems certainly shared your pain made us all miserable

Well sharing the misery definitely helped spread out the burden. Like a snowshoe.

there once was a flag wearing Mexican,
Switcheroo threads, he did the best he can,
Then he had him a stroke,
OT helped, cause he’s broke,
Now perhaps one day he can have sex again.

Owl once was a poster with grace

Begging Oweo to constantly sit on his face

One day had a stroke because he didn't get woke

Which caused his pee pee to disappear without a trace

Gotta work on that meter, man. Limericks require consistency.

I hope CD is getting through this as well as possible.

My Owlvis poem:

We have a fine poster named Owl
His posts are quite fair for a fowl;
His jokes, they do please us;
He’s the OT’s own Jesus;
That stroke needs to throw in the towel.
