I think that she's just heartbroken and suffering like the rest ... never chatted with her in any way shape or form but I can't imagine a sister dying so young.

I truly hesitated to post today .. but my nature is to try to see "the other side" even if I question "the other side" myself .. I'm not trying to change anyone's opinion or anything. Just wanted to update.

Thanks for the update!

The whole thing just came across so weird. And she was so concerned about the money,

I know all too well how devastating it is to lose a sibling at a young age and money would be the last thing on my mind.

And I was grateful to all those who helped. I would NEVER have come at those who helped like that.

You had a run of a few years that would have broken most.

that's the thing that struck me, Y'all were so amazing in my challenge to see people that had helped me get attacked for asking reasonable /caring questions, it just seemed weird

but Im not an addict and those here who shared their own struggles have explained the single-mindedness in a way is the desire

Some people mistakenly thing it actually makes them sound cool, edgy and somehow smarter than the rest of us.

I wrestled many many demons on many many dark nights. Honestly my kids saved me. Hearing “daddy I love you don’t leave me.” Those hugs. Those sweet eyes.

That’s what gets you through. No matter how dark the night is, you have to keep on. You can’t give up. Because the dawn’s gonna break eventually. You’ll have bad days. Sometimes you’ll have worse days.

But a day is 24 hours. It ends. The misery doesn’t last forever.

You just have to hang on long enough to get through the tears to the laughter.

And I still struggle with it. I still get down. But those snuggles and cuddles and I Love You’d are what keeps me going. Because kids need their daddy.

ETA: Eric, man, if you read this, just hang on. For your kids man. I know what it’s like to feel like you are in despair so deep that you’ll never get out. No job, lost a wife, lost a brother, overwhelmed. Those pills are poison though. Those kids are what you need. Be selfless for them and they will be what keeps you going.

For the piling on I did, I apologize. Call it tough love, but you gotta stay strong for them and escaping into a bottle is just gonna make them worse off.

fr33 I get it ... I agree she came across as an arse. I don't know what else to say about her.

I'm sorry for your losses. I truly am.
