There is the possibility that someone else in her household or family bought all that, and she was doing what she thought was right and returning it.

Local Market Basket is taking no returns of cleaning supplies, sanitizer, toilet paper, paper towels.

I'm sure they will be restricting more.

I'm confused as to why anyone would need to return them. Buying so much at once was stupid as hell, yes, but why not just keep it and not need to buy any more for the next year or so?

You’re asking why a clearly irrational, selfish person would do an irrational, selfish thing?

I've got some popcorn. Would you like to share while we watch the entertainment?

Kroger in Houston started that a couple weeks ago. They are not doing ANY returns, period. You better like it and make sure you want it because once you get past the registers with it, it is yours for good.

Costco is refusing all returns of rice, toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer, Lysol, wipes and bottled water. WalMart should follow suit.

She could have already bought that stuff and was returning something else unrelated. Not going to believe a random picture and assumption on the internet.

Also I expect the Fortune 1 company to know better than allow this; which I doubt they will/would.

There isn’t that much tp on the shelves of every Walmart in the country, unless that pic is 3 months old.

Costco will not allow returns of anything that was part of the hoard fest about three weeks ago.
