What's the timeframe on this? Say I smoke a joint, then drive 3 hours later. Am I good?

How so?

I never understood how they could legalize weed without this sort of thing. It was actually my only argument against legalizing.

Not that I argued against it, just that I thought that would be a reason not to legalize.

While part of your statement is true, caffeine, and nicotine are not considered to impair your driving ability- adderal and Xanax are both considered controlled substances and you can get a DUI for driving while under the influence of a controlled substance. Adderal may be a little more tricky, because it does not affect people with ADHD the same as it would a normal person- but you would have to have a script for it before you could even argue that point.
