What the politics in Colorado like? Is Denver and Boulder politics different from lets say Colorado Springs?

I live in Montana so I wouldn’t know.

I always laugh at threads like this where you losers that stay inside and look at tv all day drive around another state and all of a sudden think Louisiana isn’t beautiful

Nobody likes you here so just move. You can do your “fantasy draft” somewhere else

Just got back a couple days ago. Go up to Kalispell-Whitefish-Columbia Falls tri-city area a couple times a year for skiing and hiking in Glacier NP. My favorite place in the lower 48

Who knows, we may run into each other. I’ve been here 4 years.

I sold a beautiful 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home in Boulder to move to Baton Rouge. Do I get idiot of the millennium, or what ? Don’t answer please.

I’ve probably run into you at the Super 1 or in Glacier or at Whitefish ski resort before then. I’ll move my arse up there someday.

Yes it really is quite a cautionary tale . But seriously, I had to get Mrs Pimp back to her family. It worked out well because we have great and tight family and my kids got to experience that. At least I had a decade there.

Understood. We've stayed for family too. I love that my daughter has been able to grow up around my dad and her cousins.

Pimp, what would this house be worth now? That has to be the ultimate kicker.

Breck's high altitude got me though. holy shite that was rough

9200’ is a really tough starting point. for whatever reason I’ve never been particularly susceptible to altitude sickness but I tell anyone that’s going from sea level to Breck to spend the night in denver or near the front range.

Leadville is the same. stupidly awesome, beautiful town. but stupidly high. at least at Breck it’s easy to come down if you need to. you’re kind of stuck in Leadville

Heading out hone on a few weeks for elk season. Yes Colorado is amazingly beautiful but the best part of the state is how much there is to do outdoors.

Growing up there may have been 15 days a year on average you didn’t want to be outside.

Want more beauty than CO? Keep on up to N’west WY and MT. Want more than that? Head to California.

California has beaches too. Maybe not as mountainous as Colorado but there is a lot of pretty coastline. North Carolina while not as big or pretty in my opinion is the California version of the east coast. Mountains in the west and large outer banks coastline. Both are very desirable for nature lovers.

Probably more. Half of Colorado looks like Kansas.
