Is there a doctor in BR who uses Miralax and pills for colonoscopy prep instead of Suprep? I don't want to drink that awful concoction again.

IDK. But I hope you find one. I could only get through half the last time I had one. I told the Dr never again.

Eh...I'm not exactly looking forward to doing it again, but I'd be lying if I said I'm still not thinking about the glorious 6 or 7 seconds I had with Lady Propofol. When they told me I needed to come back in 5 years instead of 10, I was like, "Yeah...sounds good."

Dr Balart at the Baton Rouge Clinic gave me the pills (not sure the name) this go around. The liquid crap that I was given a few years ago was horrible.

I actually went with cologuard this time instead of a colonoscopy.

Just ask the same doctor first. Most will change to the other if asked, a few won't.

Just use Cologuard. Take a normal shite into a cardboard box and mail it in. No sedation or tube up the arse.

What if you have polyps though? I'd rather go through the prep and tube up the arse if it means they can remove polyps while there.

Have to say that first movement after was pretty cool. Poop was white from the Barium. Like ghost poop hiding in the bowl.

This was the worst prep I had to do. Made me pass out on the toilet and gave me terrible abdominal pains.

The drink has gotten much better. The prep for my colonoscopy last year was the easiest and least awful so far.

Just had one this morning with Dr Shah in Gonzales, used Miralax and laxatives.
