What trades are making $100k quickly?
Just about any roofer who can fog a mirror in South LA every 4 weeks or so for the immediate future.

Oh really? How many cane fields to you regularly tour?
I don't really have to go tour any cane fields considering I pretty much have cane fields all around me. Literally.
About 3 miles from my house there is housing on the land the sugar cane farmers lease, that house the Mexican workers.
Every Friday evening during cane season they do their shopping at walmart (that's when they get paid). Would you like me to get you video of who is doing the work.

How many are getting education degrees versus engineering degrees?
From my lunch group during high school - there were 5 of us girls: two are engineers, one is a pharmacist, one has a PhD in education, and then there’s me

"American colleges and universities now enroll roughly six women for every four men. This is the largest female-male gender gap in the history of higher education, and it’s getting wider. Last year, U.S. colleges enrolled 1.5 million fewer students than five years ago, The Wall Street Journal recently reported. Men accounted for more than 70 percent of the decline."
This is all pointless because we live in a time where we can't tell the difference between a man and a woman.

You mean Americans aren't going to do it.. Because I see a lot of Mexicans doing the hard work. That's who I see in the cane fields, etc, etc, etc..
A lot of those guys come over and don’t speak a lick of English. What do you expect them to do? They are lucky they have that and clearly don’t mind it too much since nobody is forcing them to stay.
I work in construction and the crews where I work are probably 40% Hispanic, 40% white, 20% Black
Anyone thinking it’s literally only Hispanics is a moron.

It appears that these colleges, who chased males off campus, are worried about continuing to lose money because of declining enrollment of males. Shocker

wish at 18-20, i would have gone the tech school route
You and me both. Also, it’s like I made the same bad decision repetitively because i often thought in my 20’s and 30’s to go to BRCC for an analyser/instrumentation associates degree but I never did do it. I think I would have been happier if I did that for a living.

my oldest wants to go to Baylor and get an MD... and i am strongly strongly encouraging him to look into a trade. i'm not paying for a pre-med degree at a private school.
The world needs ditch diggers too.

The entire American educational system is geared toward women. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that women outnumber in higher education.

I am a Baylor baw. They give a LOT in scholarships. It’s possible they could go for state school cost if they have the right qualifications.
Unless they get scholarships I would highly urge them to go to a public school, unless you have the cash to pay for 70-80% of their tuition because it’s INSANE.

Only on the OT are parents wanting their kids to become plumbers over doctors
Maybe not plumber.
That isn’t exactly a sentiment that is unheard of in medicine either.
Lawyers tend to tell their kids to not go to law school too.

Look at an average plumber and an average doctor.
I remember driving across northern Mississippi several year ago. I stopped three times before I found a restroom that was operational. I remember thinking, they don't need more engineers they need more plumbers.
