but you have nicer libraries than Nashville and Dallas. Maybe they can send one of their employees to direct traffic.

Based on their performance before/after LSU fball games, be glad they are not.

They need to call in the national guard

I got back home fine (taking a different route), so they must be coming back online.

How in the frick do they ever allow this light to malfunction, and on a Friday afternoon no less.
I'd venture to say that having the light turned off might make it easier to traverse

Ive said this before on this forum. There is something fishy going on with the MoveBR and light sync/smart light thing SWB did. I want to see some kind of audit on the money spent and what benefits we are seeing.

I got a wafb alert about an hour ago saying “over two dozen lights are malfunctioning across the city”
Some streets mentioned were
Airline
Govt
Florida
Essen
Siegen
Bluebonnet
& the Southdowns mardi grad parade rolls tonight. Not sure what time, but this traffic is likely causing issues for preparations. It’s certainly causing issues for afternoon carpool : /

No shite. They touted this centralized system where they could adjust the lights in real time when there’s congestion and I’ve seen absolutely no improvement anywhere.

I smell a botched system update or cyber attack….

I have been struck by how rare it is to see a police officer directing traffic at a heavily-travelled intersection when the lights malfunction. This should be a high priority in such instances, but instead traffic is permitted to slow to a crawl. Surely elected officials and the BR police department can do better than this.

People that keep turning from Perkins onto bluebonnet and block the intersection can go frick themselves

I hate that I’ve been gone so long I can’t even remember which road is Perkins.
frick.

The one thing I don't at all miss about BR/college is the traffic. No question about it.
